The Minister of Youth & Sports Honors EFIG

Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Ashraf Sobhy honors eFinance Investment Group for its successful sponsorship of the Egyptian handball team, who claimed the African championship for the third consecutive year. At the Minister of Youth and Sports' invitation, Mr. Islam El-Gamal, Marketing & Strategic Communications & PR deputy head of marketing, attended the honorary events on behalf of the group, and expressed his pride at receiving this honor, which was based on the group's faith in the skills and capabilities of the Egyptian handball team, who claimed the African title for the ninth time in history. Several prominent figures from Egypt's sports industry attended the ceremony, along with representatives from private companies that support and sponsor sports.

Egypt wins the final & claims the African Champions title!

For the third time in a row, Egypt’s handball men's team named the African Champions making it a total of 9 African titles. EFIG’s been sponsoring the National Handball Team as well as the championship for 2 years now, and we’re very proud to be a part of such a great sport and such a dedicated team. Egypt, the hosting country won the 26th African Men's Handball Championship after The Pharaohs showed an outstanding performance, dominating the court floor and winning over Algeria in the final on Saturday. It is the third consecutive African title and the ninth in total for the Egyptian handball men's team. The win also secured Egypt’s spot in the 2024 Paris Olympics for the eighth time in its history, and in the 2025 World Championship, which is set to take place in Croatia, Denmark, and Norway.

EFIG, in collaboration with Sonaa El Kheir, celebrate the re-opening of Ezbet Al-Safih, in Fayoum after reconstruction

Ezbet Al-Safih, Al-Shimi Village, in Al-Fayoum was officially inaugurated as part of the eFinance Investment Group's direct social investment strategy in cooperation with “Sonaa el Kheir”, a member of the National Alliance, and in the presence of the Governor of Fayoum Dr.Ahmed El-Ansari and a representative of the Ministry of Social Solidarity and the Ministry of Education, and within the framework of the presidential initiative "Hayah Karima (Decent Life)"  1. 48 houses were reconstructed in two phases, with concrete, flooring, plumbing, paint, doors, and windows completed before the houses were fully furnished with electrical appliances, two bedrooms, a reception area, and a kitchen. 2. Enhancing El-Shimi School's computer lab's efficiency by repainting it and providing ten computers as well as a printer and a projector. 3. A medical convoy to check schoolchildren and identify diseases including anemia, diabetes, and vision impairment early on and provide the necessary treatment as well as eyeglasses. In the second stage, a sustainability center will be established with the goal of empowering women in the Fayoum Governorate and promoting financial independence as a part of a heritage and handicrafts revival initiative.
